26th Sunday in OT – 25Sep2022
Gospel: Luke 16:19-31
1st Reading: Amos 6:1a,4-7
2nd Reading: 1Tim 6:11-16
“We are stewards of the wealth given by God that must be shared with the poor in obedience to His command so that we can attain eternal life.”
1. How do I feel concern and care for the poor and unfortunate?
2. What are the things that prevent me from helping beggars on the street?
1. Beg and participate in church projects, activities and programs for the poor.
2. Give help to others with unadulterated judgment.
3. Offer a prayer for those who are suffering from hardship and pain in their lives.
Blessed are those who remain faithful while they are treated by others and forgive them from their hearts. Blessed are those who look into the eyes of the abandoned and marginalized and show their closeness. Blessed are those who see God in every person and strive to discover others. Blessed are those who protect and care for our common home. Blessed are those who sacrifice their own comfort to help others. Blessed are those who pray and work for full fellowship among Christians.
